All About Me:

Me at HalloweenLee, Jocie, and Heidi

I'm originally from North Alabama, in the Shoals area.  I'm a two-time graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle!) with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, and a graduate of the University of West Georgia with my Specialist of Education.  I'm married to a life-long Cobb County resident who is a teacher as well.  We have two daughters; a ten-year old and a four-year old.

I'm beginning my 16th year in education, teaching Co-Taught Science, Co-Taught Math, and Small Group Math and Small Group Reading.

I'm looking forward to a great year with all of our students at Awtrey Middle School!

Please make sure your student has their own personal calculator. This is a requirement. It needs to be a basic, 4-function calculator. Students will need their own calculator for the Milestone as we are not allowed to supply students with calculators for the test. Students will only be allowed to use basic calculators on the Milestone, so please don't waste your money buying anything too fancy :) You can get a basic calculator at the Dollar Tree, Target, and Wal-mart, all for about $1.00!
