Dear Round Valley Student,
You'll find most of my math support videos by clicking on "Videos - Click Here" on the left. Below you will find everything you need to make use of Go Math!'s online website. I'm a fan of the Personal Math Trainer for getting extra practice in and preparing for tests. Give it a try, and tell me what you think! If it's your first time, watch the "quick start" video I made. It can be found in the menu on the left, as well. If you're ever feeling discouraged, read the Mathematician's Pledge (below,) see if I have a video on the tricky skill, and keep at it! - Mrs Yager :)

*Interactive Student Edition*
Use this if you were absent OR
you're not quite ready to complete problems independently.
Log in to the Go Math! Then click on "My Library" to see the resources your teacher made available to you. The Interactive Student Edition gives you access to the student edition textbook, and so much more! Cartoon videos allow you to preview/review whichever lesson you select. Teachers don't always instruct the lessons in order. For this reason, it's important to make sure you ask your teacher which lesson(s) you miss while absent. This is a fun way to keep up with your class if you are absent or review tricky lessons.
Take a deep breath * Stand up straight *Pull your shoulders back* Look strong & Read this:
I pledge to approach math problems with a positive attitude because I CAN do them. I am a mathematician, and I know I will have to persevere because some math problems are craaaaazy long. I will stay focused during each problem, check my work, and I will not give up.
If I come up with an incorrect answer, I will find my error. I am smart, and I know smart people ask questions and analyze mistakes to keep them from happening again.
I am determined. When my brain feels like it’s bending and I want to give up, I won’t, because I know that is when my brain is growing the most. I am a mathematician. This is just what we do! :)
