Welcome to my website! Last year was my first year at the View, before that, I was a Special Education teacher for over five and 1/2 years. Once I finished grad school and earned my Master's in Special Education along with my Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant Certification, I made the decision to pursue a career as a member of the Child Study Team. I missed the daily interaction with the students as an LDT-C and I decided, I NEEDED to get back into the classroom for this upcoming school year. So... where else better than my alma mater!? I am SO excited to be here!
Along with teaching, I have coached field hockey and cheerleading. Also, I have been a scholarship organizer at my previous school district, a class advisor, a tutor, and a mentor. Along with all of the above, I have my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Reading Certification and minor in Writing Arts. Reading and Writing are a passion of mine :)
I love being involved with the students and hope to continue that here at the View!
I am looking forward to a fun-filled, action packed school year. Please contact me with any questions.
