Outstanding Wonderful Learners

I am extremely shocked that a school closure would be the reason for updating my website, but here we are:) I'm looking forward to taking each step with my students and their parents/guardians. My goal is still the same- to learn while having fun. "We ALL have something to teach and ALOT to learn" is one of my favorite quotes because in our classroom we ALL learn from each other and encourage each other to do our best. Now we just do it behind a screen:) Another one of my favorites is "If you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, THINK AGAIN." I want all of the children who walk through the door to realize they can do anything they put their mind to and not feel threatened to try new things. This is a life skill that I know they are still following even at home. Teaching is my passion and I want all of my students to love learning as much as I do. I appreciate all you do to support your child during these uncertain times:)

It truly does take a village, and I am so proud to be a part of yours:)

During our meets, we will have mini-lessons on Mental Math strategies, introduction to new concepts, review of previous concepts needed for building new learning. This year the students are going to memorize their multiplication and division facts, so please continue to have them practice.
