*All Powerpoints that I use to teach our lessons are uploaded to Google Classroom
once I am done teaching that particular lesson in class.
Students can use these Powerpoints to help them study for the Mid-unit and End-of-Unit tests.
They should also use the KEY CONCEPTS that are listed on the beginning page
of each lesson as well as know the vocabulary.
I will also upload the AMPLIFY teacher YouTube video for students to watch.

*Students always have an opportunity to receive extra points in Science.
They must watch any science based show (I have a list on my board in class)
and write a paragraph summary (at least 5 sentences) of what they learned on loose leaf paper.
They must put the name of the show on the top line. They also need to put their name in the top right hand corner.
Each summary is worth 1 extra point.
Students may turn in up to 5 summaries per 9 week period (5 extra points total).
They can hand them in as they watch them.
I have a manilla folder where they turn them in.
Check out this website https://jason.org/career-pathways/
for some pretty cool examples of people who are STEM role models.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathmatics.
JASON Learning introduces students to careers in STEM in our live role model webcast series. In these live events, students meet scientists, engineers, designers, and other professionals who share their journey to their careers from what sparked their passion, to the courses they studied, the adventures they have been on, and about their day-to-day experiences. Take a journey into JASON’s past live events and explore the different career opportunities there are in STEM fields. All JASON live events are free and open to the public. On-demand video archives of each live event are available for later viewing on JASON’s YouTube channel.
