Hello and welcome to the new school year at ROUGON SCHOOL!  We are glad to have your child with us!

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Keith Osburn, a 1989 graduate of Rougon High School and 1995 graduate of Southern University.  I am a HIGHLY QUALIFIED teacher with 26 years in the public schools. This year begins my 17th year teaching at Rougon.  I absolutely enjoy being back here, and it is hard to imagine working anyplace else.

Your child has the responsibilty to keep notes on everything that he or she is working on in class.  Please check your child's notebooks to make sure that what he or she has what they are supposed to have to be successful in class. The also have the responsibilty to READ each selection, as well as any and all other books that are assigned to them. THESE ARE THE ONLY WAYS YOUR CHILD WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN MY CLASS!!!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD TAKES THEIR WORK SERIOUSLY!  MAKE SURE THEY DO THEIR ASSIGNMENTS WHEN GIVEN!

I will continue to give notes, perform activities, and give lectures to the students.

I hope this information is helpful to you.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me at the school, 225-627-4291, or e-mail me at [email protected].  I'll be more than happy to sit with you and help you help your child any way I can.

Thank you for the opportunity and privilege of teaching your children. It is a responsibilty I take seriously, and with great pride.

Regards,

Keith Osburn
Teacher
