I would like to extend a welcome to those visiting this webpage.

We have a great school here at J.I. Barron Elementary with the best faculty, staff, and students.

 

We (Mrs. Winn and several teacher reps from all grade levels) re-constructed our PBIS plan and structure last year to great success. I think it may be one of the best things Barron has done in a long time. I would love to answer any questions stakeholders may have about it. 

 

At Barron we believe in I do, we do, you do.

 

I do (the teacher teaches the skill), We do (the teacher and students stuggle and question and solve problems togehter with help from the teacher), and you do (the students cooperatively learn together how to solve problems and think on a higher plane to make themselves better).

 

Talk with your children about the importance of hard work and also discuss with them how enlightening others to their own special interest areas can help all those around us learn. 

 

We are all constantly learning and we need to have that growth mind-set going on all the time to build ourselves into more productive members of society.
