Welcome to my website. I'm looking forward to a great year!
A little bit about me: My name is Mrs. Fry. I have been teaching business and technology for 16 years. I am excited to be teaching at Bridgewater Raritan High School, my alma mater. I have 2 masters degrees- MBA and Masters in Educational Technology. I am the advisor of FBLA, a business and leadership organization, and the Class of 2024. I also live in Bridgewater with my husband and our 3 children.
This website is strictly used for basic information about the courses. All assignments and homework are listed in Google Classroom. Please ask your child to share their Google Classroom with you if you'd like to see their assignments, homework and progress.
A little bit about my overall expectations for all students:
Student Expectations:
RESPECT all people and all things.
Be PROMPT
- Arrive to class before the bell rings and begin working
- Turn in assignments when due
Be PREPARED
- Bring required materials to class
- Know all due dates and assignment details
- Follow-up on work missed due to an absence
Be POLITE
- Cooperate with the teacher and fellow classmates
- Use classroom appropriate language and gestures
PARTICIPATE
- Follow directions the first time and stay on task
- Maintain a positive learning environment
Take PRIDE
- Do your own work and do it with excellence
Attendance: In accordance with Board policy, 8 absences maximum for a semester course. School-related functions are excused absences (field trips, guidance appointments, nurse, class meetings); all other absences count- even if you brought a note to school. After 8 unexcused, you will lose credit for the course or need to appeal.
If you know you will be absent, please let me know so that you have the opportunity to complete the assignment ahead of time. If you have an unplanned absence, work should be made up as soon as possible after returning to school. It is YOUR responsibility to ask me what was covered in class so that you can make up the work. PLEASE come and see me if you are falling behind or do not understand the assignment. DON’T wait until the last minute to ask for assistance.
