Homework
Homework should be copied into agendas each day. (2nd-4th Grade) (Kindergarten - 1st grade will recieve a paper copy for Homework Details each week.)

Your child has a Reading folder that is specifically for my class.

 The folder is where the students store monthly reading logs. Each month students will receive a new sheet per week. Please place any notes for me in this folder. Please check for any notes from me as they will be put in there or via email. 

The folder will be put into a ziploc bag along with a spelling (word study) notebook (depending on grade) and books. 

 

 

 READING

Reading Logs ~ Students will be coming home with a book or book(s) to read.  There is a seperate section for an Interest Book. This is for any book your child is interested in.  It can be a book from home or somewhere else. Parents, please initial each day that a book is read.

 RazPlus Website: Students may log in and read a book from the website. (Please initial each day if this is the option chosen.)Try to record a reading! Please let me know if you do

it and we can listen during class! **If you can't find the log in information, please let me know and I will send home another copy.**

 

  

SPELLING HOMEWORK

(Depending on grade level) ~ 3 activities are due Thursday.  Friday is spelling test.  A monthly Choice Board will be sent home each week.  Please use this sheet for the 3 activites. Any activites that need to be written, please put in the Spelling (Word Study) Notebook.  Please write the title of the activity in the margin. Please use front and back of pages and do not skip pages. If it is an activity that does not need to be put on paper, please initial and date on the Choice Board Menu sheet. On Thursday, students will hand in the Choice Board sheet with their Spelling (Word Study) Notebook. 

 

This may not apply to all students. You will be notified if your child's homework will be modified.

Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Please click on the links on my website to see Spelling Lists.  Choice Boards will be posted if it pertains to your child.  

 

4th Grade only: Google Classroom will be utilized for my class.  Spelling Lists, Vocabulary Lists, and anything else important will be posted there. 

 

(I will send a note home when we start vocabulary lists.)

 

Vocabulary lists will go home every other week.  Students may recieve a vocabulary sheet for homework.  Please use the links, Flippity and Quizlet to study.  Students may also use the flashcards to study.
