WEEKLY BAND AND CHORUS SCHEDULES WILL BE POSTED HERE:

Every week, students will meet as an entire band group at the times noted below unless otherwise noted. 
 
4th grade - FULL BAND is Friday, Period 7. Small group is normally on Monday or Tuesday. 
5th grade - FULL BAND is Friday, Period 4. Small group is normally on Wednesday.
6th-8th grades - FULL BAND is Friday, Period 3. Small group is normally on Thursday.
 
In addition, students will be pulled from one class per week for small group lessons according to the rotating schedule that will be emailed home each week. Your child will get a printed copy every Friday when they come to full band rehearsal. It should be immediately placed in their binder. Additional copies can be found in the cafeteria. Schedule is also sent via email and Remind, and is posted in Google Classroom for Band. Schedule is below:

 Playing a musical instrument is a complex and challenging skill.  

It also requires muscle development, and like sports,

regular exercise of those muscles is needed to build strength,

which improves tone and endurance.  

Consistent and diligent practicing is ESSENTIAL to achieve success!!!  

 

 

 

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD PRACTICE A MINIMUM OF

 

60 MINUTES PER WEEK AT HOME.
