My philosophy of Theatre classes is that they are student centered classes that seek to empower the student through the dramatic arts, which include acting, designing, and the technical aspects of theatre, and theatre history. I will guide students through the various elements of theatre as they journey toward becoming exceptional young adults, lifelong learners, and members of the theatre community.
I emphasize team-oriented cooperation, in particular the value of : "Surrendering the ME for the WE." Class projects and theatre productions rely on the cooperation of its participants, thus the spirit of cooperation is most essential and sacred.
Theatre classes will be a student centered program that fosters responsible student expression through the dramatic arts.
