1.       Tests – Each question will be worth 4 points. The number of questions will determine the weight of the test. (Ex.: 13 questions times 4 points each question yields an exam worth 52 points.)
·         Partial credit (up to half) will be given for showing work.
2.       Quizzes – Graded in the same format as tests, but the questions will be worth 2-3 points depending on the material.
3.       Homework – Graded as a completion grade at least once a week. If all work is complete, the student will receive 10 points (full credit). If the work is not complete, but the student has at least half, 5 points will be given. If less than half of the work is complete, 0 points will be given.
* Random homework assignments may be taken up and graded as quizzes.
·         Students will usually have time to begin and/or complete assignments during class.
·         Students will have 5 days to turn in any missed assignments due to absence.
4.       Bellwork – Completed every day at the beginning of class. These will be turned in on Friday (or the last day of a particular week). The number of bellworks throughout the week will determine the points possible (12 bellworks = a possible 12 points).
·         It will be the student’s responsibility to make up any missed bellwork.
-      If a question/answer is not written out, the student will lose a point for that question.
5.       Notebook Check  (NBC) – Random checks will be made to insure that students are taking notes. These checks will be worth 10 points each, and they will be graded similarly to homework.
- It is the students resposibility to attain any missing notes after an absence.

* Homework Passes may be earned weekly (up to 2 per grading period). Students must complete all assignments, have no discipline reports, and make a "B" or higher on all tests/quizzes for that particular week. Only weeks with a test or quiz are eligible. Homework passes may be redeemed for any missing homework assignments.

* Extra credit assignments will be posted each grading period after progress reports are given.
