Mrs. Tunkel, Kindergarten

Welcome! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child.  Kindergarten students make great strides in learning, social skills, and self-confidence.  Communication between home and school is very important. Contact me by sending an email to [email protected]

During the first few weeks we will focus on classroom procedures, routines, and getting to know each other.   I am looking forward to a wonderful year teaching your child!

I will give your child a folder for homework and important papers on the first day of school. See below for additional supplies needed.

  • box of tissues to be stored in class

  • dry-erase markers and eraser to be stored in class

  • markers to be stored in class
  • backpack that will fit a folder  (not on wheels)

  • crayons and pencils to keep at home for homework

  • complete change of clothes including undies in a bag labeled with your child's name
