Welcome to first grade with Mrs. Rothkugel and Mrs. Gupta! We look forward to learning and sharing our year together with each of you!
First grade is an exciting year to learn about reading, writing, and math skills! It's also a year full of fun and adventure, especially when learning about each other and making new friends.
Do you want to learn a little bit about each of us?
Mrs. Rothkugel - I have been teaching at Milltown School since 2006! I have taught both 1st and 3rd grade! I even got to teach a year with Mrs. Gupta in 1st grade before I started teaching 3rd graders!
I have 2 daughters. Kaylee will be in 4th grade this year and Chelsea will be in 2nd grade. I also have a bunny named Cinnamon. She's a cutie and acts like a cat! I can't wait to tell you all the silly stories about my girls and our bunny!
I love cooking, crafting, gardening, health and fitness and ANYTHING outdoors! I can't wait to hear about the things that make each of you unique.
Mrs. Gupta - I have my Master's in English Literature and a Master's in Elementary Reading. I have been teaching for the past 27 years and started at Milltown School when it opened in 2005 :)
I have been married for 31 years and am a proud mom of two daughters, who graduated from BRRSD!! My younger daughter is a Milltown alumni! Both of them are now working professionals as a pharmacist and a banker.
It is an honor to be teaching children from all over the world. I am looking forward to a great year of learning with all the students in Room #106!
