A few helpful hints to ensure success in the class.
1. Always try to study your notes every night. This will not always be possible, but if you try to do it every night you will be more likely to study at least 3 - 4 times a week.
2. Class and home work is extremely important and a low score on an interactive science notebook grade indicates poor performance in class. Please remember that class time is vital to your education and progression in the class. You must always use your time wisely. If you fail to turn in the day's work or the night before's homework, a score will not be given for that assignment, even if you complete it the following day. I strongly encourage you to complete any work that you failed to have done on time to ensure that you gain the skill taught that day, but there will be no score given for that assignment if it was due at the end of class.
3. Bellworks must be completed daily. You will turn in your bell work sheets every two weeks. If you are late (after the bellwork on the day it is due), your bell work score will be deducted 2.5 points.
4. An "X" as a grade means I do not have this assignment for you, but you still have time to turn it in. It is averaged as a zero and will not stay an X for long, so make sure you get it in as soon as possible.
