Summary:

Eleven-year-old P. T. Wilkie may be the greatest storyteller alive. But he knows one thing for a fact: the Wonderland Motel is the best place a kid could ever live! There’s only one thing the Wonderland doesn’t have, though—customers. And if the Wonderland doesn’t get them soon, P.T. and his friend Gloria may have to say goodbye to their beloved motel forever. They need to think BIG. They need to think BOLD. They need an OUTRAGEOUS plan.

Crazy fun filled novel; actually Fun in the Sun novel.  Okay this one we can all relate to as the location is sunny hot humid Florida.  Just a couple of hours to our north in St. Petersburg, P. T.  keeps his friends and family amused with his tales of living in a motel.  Of course he annoys some adults, but luckily for him a new motel customer Gloria can put up with his storytelling and teach him a few facts at the same time.  Now this is one of those wild ride books - that you love right away or say no way can all of this happen.  I would advise you to buckle in and enjoy where P.T. is going to take you.  The larger than life statues Freddy the Frog, Dino and Muffler Man [ there is more too] will keep you smiling.  And I love Grandpa with bologna sandwiches and postive outlook.  You always need that one person who will say let's go for it.  And I believe you will go for this book!
