Introduction to Business Computer Applications Students learn key board reaches and over time are able to produce varied business documents using application software in Micro Soft Office Word and PowerPoint.

Grading Policy:
Based on RPSB grading policy. A minimum of 9 major grades for each grading period, including bell ringers, skill techniques, daily class work lessons, tests, and special projects.
Make- up Work:
Students who have excused absences will be able to make up missed assignments before school or after school. It is the student’s responsibility to check with the teacher for missed assignments and plan to complete all missed work in a timely manner, within 2-3 days upon return. Students may not work on incomplete assignments during regular class time.
Due Dates and Deadlines:
It is extremely important that students remain current with their daily assignments. One complete lesson is assigned daily.

PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS

Course Description:
Principles of Business (POB) introduce students to the Business world. This is done over two semesters where students learn key business concepts and practices that will be used regardless of future job or career endeavors. Students work daily using critical thinking skills, technology, small and large projects- individual and group. Oral and written communication skills emphasized.
Text Book- Introduction to Business Latest Edition, Glencoe.

bell ring, vocabulary, daily class work lessons, research, tests, and special projects- minor and
major.

Section assignments are due at the end of each class period. all work is keyed in MSWord, some assignments require creating and presenting a (5-10 Power Point slide show). Periodic subject related research projects designed to enhance student learning on various business topics.
