This year begins my 20th year of teaching!  I'm excited to be back in third grade after teaching 5th grade for two years.  I have also taught 1st grade the first ten years of my career. I have taught at Cape Elementary from the very beginning.  Why leave the best school if you don't have to?

 

I attended Cape Elementary for kindergarten and then transferred to Pelican Elementary. I attended Gulf Middle and Cape High where I graduated in 1991.  In December of 1999, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I am currently completing my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Grand Canyon University.

 

I have lived most of my life in Cape Coral, however, I was born in Wisconsin.  I'm the mother to a beautiful almost 14 year old daughter, Olivia.
