Hello! I am Tammie Yarborough Roberts and am blessed with teaching your children this year. I will have them for ELA and Social Studies. I am returning to the classroom full time after retiring in 2014. I have 30 plus years of experience. I earned two degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University. My first degree was in Social Welfare and after yearning to work with children more closely, I decided to return to school and attain my Elementary Education degree as well. I was extremely proud to become a National Board Certified Teacher in 2005; therefore, I am nationally certified to teach all subjects in grades 1-8.
I graduated from Spring Creek High School in 1977, married my high school sweetheart in 1980, and have raised my family in the community I grew up in. We have two sons, a daugher in law, a future daughter in law, and three wonderful grandchildren.
Homework sheets will be sent home on Monday each week. Graded papers will come home on Wednesday. Please sign the parent communication blue folder and return the papers to school for my documentation. We are not allowed to send test papers home; however, if at any time, you would like to view them, please set up a conference date and together we can review.
