Eureka Math Squared

In level 8, students write and operate with numbers written in scientific notation by applying the definitions and properties of integer exponents. They explore congruence and similarity through hands-on activities and by describing rigid motions and dilations. Students prove and apply the Pythagorean theorem and its converse. They make connections and solve problems by using proportional relationships, lines, linear equations and systems of linear equations. Students define, evaluate, and compare functions and also use them to model relationships between quantities.
