GRADING POLICIES:

 

                ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GRADING: 

                                10 points given each day:

                                                *2 Points given for each = Lining up, Participation, Attitude, Following Rules, Respect 

               MIDDLE SCHOOL GRADING:

                                10 points given each day:

                                                *5 Points = Dressing out in PE uniform

                                                *5 Point = Participation/Attitude/listening/following directions, etc.

                                Total Grade:

                                                80% = Daily Points

                                                20% = Test & Assignments

                HIGH SCHOOL GRADING:

                                10 points given each day:

                                                *5 Points = Dressing out in PE uniform

                                                *5 Point = Participation/Attitude/listening/following directions, etc.

                                Total Grade:

                                                80% = Daily Points

                                                20% = Test & Exams/Assignments

                                               

 

                               

DRESS & CLOTHING POLICIES:

Required clothing for all Physical Education classes (6th - 12th grade):

  • LSD PE t-shirt &  LSD PE shorts (purchased in PE department $10 each or $20 for both)
  • Athletic shoes (tennis shoes) – no flip-flops, sandals, boots or dress shoes will be allowed.
  • A sweatshirt and warm-up pants may be worn over the t-shirt and shorts on cooler outside activity days.

Non-dress Policy:

  • All non-dresses will receive a “0” for the class period.
  • You can earn back half of your participation points back for still participating in the day’s activity or in an alternate activity that is assigned to you.

Locker Room/Locks:

  • Lockers will be assigned to each student.
  • Combination locks will be assigned to each student, unless they supply their own. (Students who provide their own locks must give their combinations or extra key to their teacher.)
  • Students are responsible for locking their lockers daily.
