Hello everyone
Welcome to 25-26 school year. I am very excited for a very different school year. I am Mrs. Babin. I teach 1st grade at Laplace Elementary.
1. First graders need to know their math facts and sight words.
Most Important:" YOU ARE YOUR CHILD'S FIRST TEACHER"- it is your enthusiam, spirit and involvement that can inspire your child to learn. Foster a love of learning and read to your child daily. Praise them, Praise them, for all that they do.
Homework - I assign homework every night. A homework sheet will go home every Monday. Please complete the homework and send it back daily.
Absentees - Your child can miss no more than 11 days in the school year. We also need doctor's excuses when your child is absent. If your child is sick more than a few days, please let me know.
