Senora Dilks' Spanish Class

My name is Senora Dilks. I am a Spanish teacher at Alder and Fernwood Middle Schools. I teach all 6th graders and the Hispanohablantes in 7th and 8th grade. I have over 9 years of experience teaching the Spanish Language. I have two sons, a 11 and an 8 year old and recently we had a new addition to our family. For the begining of the 2017 school year I have decided to stay home with my son. Students will have a wonderful substitute teacher during this period. Please expect a letter of introduction from her soon.

I was very happy to be a stay at home mom  for some years which I combined with working as a substitute in the Egg Harbor Township School District. This has given me great knowledge of the schools, the kids, and our community, which I am happy to belong to.

It is my goal to provide your children with the best possible instruction, ensuring that each one of them realizes and takes advantages of the multiple benefits of learning a second language.

As a teacher I make my classroom an environment that is conducive to learning. All students are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Students are expected to respect one another and their teacher. Additionally they are expected to complete all assignments and to speak Espanol!
