My name is Señora Dilks. I am a Spanish teacher at the Fernwood Middle School. I teach 6th, 7th and 8th graders including the Hispanohablantes sections. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and have over 15 years of experience teaching the Spanish Language. I have a 5 year old and two other sons who are also students at the EHT School District.
It is my goal to provide your children with the best possible instruction, ensuring that each one of them realizes and takes advantages of the multiple benefits of learning a second language. As a teacher I strive to understand what knowledge their students already have, and find a way to tap into that knowledge and build upon it everyday.
As a teacher I make my classroom an environment that is conducive to learning. All students are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Students are expected to respect one another and their teacher. Additionally they are expected to complete all assignments and to speak Espanol!
