The Music Man Jr.
The show ran for three performances-March 16, 17, & 18. The cast and crew came together
and gave fine performances of this Broadway classic. The students enjoyed exploring the time period (1912)
in our American history. The show would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of so many parents and
friends. The Performing Arts Boosters out did themselves by providing meals for the students during later night
practices, providing chaperones, help with costumes and setting up vending tables for the shows. Plus, so many
adults worked behind the scenes to assist Mrs. Reed and the students. Congratulations on a job well done. We
are all so proud of you!
The Academic Fair
Something new at this year's Academic Fair, students in Grades 3-8 gave musical performances
throughout the evening as parents visited their children's classrooms and help themselves to ice cream.
Third graders performed on their flutophones and 4th and 5th graders sang many classic American favorites,
Other students performed solos or duets on the piano, guitar and violin students shared their music too. Finally,
the Concert Band performed upbeat music for the audience of parents, grandparents and friends. All performances
took play in the cafeteria at scheduled times and were all well-attended by a large audience of supporters.
