- Post-it Notes
- One Language Arts binder (size and binder type is up to your organizational habits)
- Lined paper
- At least one divider to separate the writing paper from class handouts
- One one-subject spiral bound notebook

What is 8th Grade Language Arts?
Eighth grade language arts is a unique language arts class that focuses on the various methods of communicating. Throughout the year students will study speech, drama, journalism, and poetry, while emphasizing critical reading, strong writing, speaking, viewing, listening, and critical thinking. Many of the tools and skills you learn and practice in language arts will be used throughout your other courses at Annin and as you further your education.
