Students and Parents,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Madison James Foster Elementary! I am so excited to work with each of you. This year, learning and engagement will look different, but as usual we will have so much fun as we learn. Please click on the links to the left under "Main Menu" to find interactive and fun resources.
If your child will utilize virtual learning instruction, I will contact you via the "Remind app" with additional information. My code is @3c97bha. Please respond to the text so that I will know that you received the message.This will be our main point of correspondence. However, I will also need an accurate telephone number to correspond with you on a weekly basis.

HELPFUL TIPS FOR LEARNING
1. Review the alphabet and letter sounds as often as possible. You can make this a game. This will help increase recognition and recall skills. Also, read a short book to your child, and allow your child to read to you. Make sure that you ask questions related to the story. This activity will increase reading readiness and comprehension skills.
2. For math, practice numbers 0-10 (for Pre-K students), and 0-100 (for Kindergarten students), shapes, sorting, patterns, and colors. In addition, please practice the correct way to hold a pencil and spelling/writing his or her first name.
