First Grade Dismissal Procedure:
All four first grade classes will dismiss outside of the Kindergarten doors at 2:40. For the safety of the students, all students will exit the building and line up as a class. Please wait outside the fenced area. Please do not enter the gated area or block the dismissal doors. We cannot exit the building if the doors are blocked. Each student must be individually dismissed to their parent or their after-school caregiver. This procedure takes a bit longer for the first few days of school, but dismissal will move quickly as soon as everyone is familiar with this system. Thank you for your help and patience to ensure the safe dismissal of the students!
Please review the Kindergarten Trick Words
Remember to practice all trick words learned last year in kindergarten. Children will be tested on these words the first few weeks of school. They will need to recognize each word within 3-5 seconds.
Homework Folder
Remember to check your child's GREEN homework folder daily. Please remove all classwork papers and notes/letters from school. Sign the homework book each night. Written homework is Monday through Thursday and is always due the following day. Thank you!

1 box of pencil top erasers
5 boxes of Crayola crayons
1 set of Crayola colored pencils
1 set of Crayola washable markers
4 containers of disinfecting wipes (Clorox type)
20 glue sticks
5 dozen #2 pencils – MUST BE SHARPENED
2 RED pocket folders
1 activity/coloring book
1 pencil box (not zipped)
4 large boxes of tissues
4 packs of 3x5 index cards
1 book bag (without wheels)
2 bottles of hand sanitizer
1 bottle of hand soap
2 black dry erase markers
2 black marble composition books
*Please replace supplies as needed through out the school year.
