WELCOME PARENTS AND STUDENTS!

I am Ms. Cindy Scott and I teach 8th grade Reading and English at Lee Junior High School.  I obtained my B.A. degree from NLU in 1999 and my Master of Arts degree from ULM in 2001.

I believe that teachers and parents share the same goals and desires - to help your child achieve their full potential.  Therefore, teachers and parents should work together as a team in helping students succeed in education.  This is why I strongly encourage you to contact me should you have any questions regarding your child's progress in my class.  You may reach me by e-mail at
[email protected],or you may call 323-1143, EXT. 2138, and leave a message for me.  I am available for conferences from 1:02 to 1:49 daily.  I can also meet with you before or after school if that suits your schedule better.  Please notify me in advance of your visit so that I may properly prepare.  I will be contacting you during the school year to discuss your child's progress.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you and your child.
