My curriculum focuses on a COMPREHENSIVE Agriscience curriculum as well as Industry Based Certification (IBC) instruction. I am certified in the areas of Landscaping, Horticulture Contracting,  and NCCER Core/Craft certification.

Jumpstart is a statewide program that is setting new regulations for our students to recieve high school diplomas if they are NOT  following a University track. All students following a CAREER pathway MUST complete an IBC pathway in order to recieve their diploma. There are 9 specific classses students must complete according to their pathway of choice in order to achieve this goal. Agrisciences I, II, & III are in every career pathway.

AG I & II will include IBC Core Instruction & NCCER Welding Level 1 will be included in AG III as part of our statewide IBC instruction. Please understand this is a nationally accredited curriculum not created by myself or other teachers in the classroom. These programs are outlined for and from Industry Specifications. Adjustments cannot be made to these exams or skill performance practicals.
My goal as Agriscience instructor is to teach young individuals job related skills through classroom, field experience, and hands on instruction for the betterment of our youth so they may be sucessful in a work related enviornment and become active members of our community while focusing on the importance of agriscience and agriculture within our community starting with how it develped civilization helped to shape this great nation and our world.
I will also encourage all of my students  to join the FFA organization to further enhance their education and personal development. This organization offers them "real world" experiences they will be able to apply in all areas of their high school careers and throughout their adult lives.

Should you have any thoughts, concerns, or questions regarding your child's progress within my class please feel free to contact me at school.
