At carroll High School, our mission is to provide a safe environment that is conducive to quality teaching and active student learning.  Therefore, certain rules must be enforced.

For the school and classroom

1.  Students are required to have necessary materials on
hand and be in the classroom-in their seats- before the tardy bell rings.

2.  Students must respect fellow classmates, teachers, and
     other staff at all times.

3.  Students should raise their hand and wait for
permission before speaking in class or leaving their
     desk.

4.  Class is dismissed by the teacher, not the bell.

5.  Students may not leave the classroom after the tardy
bell rings, except in an extreme emergency.

6.  Students should attend to personal matters before class
     begins.

7.  No profanity, street talk or slang is allowed in
     class.

8.  No eating, drinking or gum chewing is allowed
     in the classroom.
