I would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 Neville High School Choir. It is my desire to provide you with the very best musical experiences. I believe we are going to accomplish great things and we should not settle for anything less. I encourage you to join me and together we shall succeed in meeting our goals. Rules and Guidelines
1. Enter the room quietly and prepare for class.
2. Food, drinks, and GUM are not allowed inside the classroom.
3. Vile language will not be tolerated nor will cell phone usages or any other types of electronic devices be allowed at any time.
4. Respect those in authority and your classmates.
5. You are not to move about without permission.
6. Pencils are needed at times; make sure YOU bring one.
TARDIES WILL BE ENFORCED.

Choir Fee
The choir fee is $25.00 and is due at this time. This price will cover the following items: uniforms, choir t- shirts, music supplies, and general operating expenses. If your fee is not paid, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY PERFORMANCES.
Grading
Grades will consist of the following:
Class Participation
Theory Exams
Individual/Group Vocal Exams
Festivals
School Concerts
Group Performances
Grading Scale: A 100-93 B 92-85 C 84-75 D 74-67 F 66 - 0
* If students do not know parts, they will not be allowed to sing in certain performances. Plese visit the "Practice" page for tracks!
Excuses
All excuses must be submitted three days after a missed event. If not, you shall receive a “0” for the missed event.
Acceptable Excuses:
1. Student illness
2. Sickness to an immediate family member (father, mother, etc…)
3. Death of a close family member
After-school Rehearsals
After-school rehearsals are called only because the time allowed during school hours are not enough to learn some songs. I understand that is may be inconvenient for some, but it is necessary if we are going to be successful. The average rehearsal time will be from 3:00-4:30 p.m.., Tuesday - Thursday.
