Keyboarding Practice
Although our typing practice software is not internet based, meaning you can only use it here at school. There are many many resources to aid you in typing practice at home if you have the internet. You can simply google free typing games and many websites become available. I like freetypinggame.net.
Vocabulary
All class vocabulary can be found on www.quizlet.com and under the search option typing W_Kilgore. Students will be assigned different word groups to study weekly.
Microsoft Office Skill Practice
Students are required to complete inclass assignments through a software called SAM. This software is internet based and can be accessed anywhere the internet is available by going to sam.cengage.com and logging in with there username(school e-mail account) and passcode.
Microsoft Certification Test Practice
Students must practice daily in class using a test training software called GMETRIX. Students also take a 100 point test in this software every Friday. This software is internet based and can be accessed at home by going to www.gmetrix.net and logging in with their username(school e-mail account) and passcode.
