Welcome to Ms. Simon's 7th Grade ELA Class!
This year we will strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills through engaging novels, short stories, poetry, nonficition, and writing projects. My goal every year is the same: help students become confident readers, clear writers, and thoughtful young people who know their words carry weight. Our classroom is inclusive- every learner gets what is needed to succeed, and every voice in the room is respected. Our Curriculum moves through four Marking Periods, each building towards stronger reading comprehension, sharper writing, and deeper class discussion.
