Dear Students,
Welcome to a new school year at Irvington High School! I hope you had a refreshing summer break. My name is Mr. Hoffman and I will be your Modern World History/Social Issues teacher this year. We will be learning about a lot of great topics and I can't wait to teach you about them!
I believe it is essential for you to learn critical thinking skills because it equips you with the ability to analyze information, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems. This will help you be independent and responsible thinkers in society. So never feel odd about asking a question, because we as human beings are meant to ask "why?"
