Flat Jesus
In your child's purple folder you will find a laminated Flat Jesus and a Lenten Journal that goes along with him. During Lent I am asking the students to take their Flat Jesus somewhere with them or bring him to a celebration with them over the weekend. They are to write in their journal about where they brought Jesus , who they were with, what they did. They should also attach a picture - either illustrated or a photograph. I spoke to the children in class
regarding this project. I also sent the instructions on this assignment is in their Purple folder. Please remember to return Flat Jesus and the Journal on Monday.
April Dates
Starting April 7th through the 15th, our third grade will be holding the Jellybean raffle to raise money for Heifer International. All monies raised support purchasing livestock for those in need. Info on the raffle ticket purchase to come soon!
If your child has brought in money for the Student council raffle that will support the purchase of new risers, their dress down day will be April 30.
Miracle Boxes are due April 7, If your child finishes their box before this date, they may bring it to school.
April 17th - 27th : School closed for EASTER Break.
