Welcome to our 2026 - 2027 school year!
I am very happy to be one of the Spanish teachers at West New York Middle School. I believe that every student has unique strengths, interests, and way of learning. That is why my class combines language learning with hands on activities, meaningful conversations, and projects. Students will also have the opportunity to explore different countries and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. My main goal is to create a positive and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable learning, participating, and asking questions.
Expectations
Come on time, prepared (charged computer, notebook, pencil) and ready to learn.
Participate during class.
Respect others
Make an effort to communicate in Spanish.

Projects/ Homework: 20%
Oral proficiency/Class Participation: 20%
Quizzes/Tests: 30%
Class assignment / Projects: 30%
Classwork Policy: When students are absent, it is their responsibility to make up given assignments as soon as possible.
