Hi! I'm Miss Barrett but most collegues and scholars call me Miss Molly. This is my first year teaching at Brigantine Community School. I teach Preschool and I am so excited to be here! I graduated from Stockton University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am currently working towards my P-3 certification.
I grew up in Ocean City and Upper Township but currently reside in Brigantine. I have a boyfriend who is a scientist and a dog named Jax. I love to go to the beach, camp, travel, and spend time with my friends and family. I rowed crew at Holy Spirit High School so I spent many days at the boat house in Brigantine. I have also volunteered at the adaptative rowing camp that is held there in the summer.
I became a teacher because I love to learn and I love to help others learn. I believe that teaching is one of few careers where you can continue to learn and challenge yourself as an indivdual as well as a professional. I hope to instill a love of learning within my students for years to come here at Brigantine Community School.
