Welcome to
Miss Winchock's Class!
Room 112
We hope that your child has had an amazing fourth grade year! They have accomplished so much! They've studied many topics within Mathematics, including multiplication, division, measurement, fractions, decimals, area and perimeter, and angles. They've learned about things like force and motion and plants in Science and immigration and the economy in Social Studies. They have practiced looking for the theme and main idea of a story, using text evidence, and making inferences in Reading. The children have had the opportunity to conduct research within Writing while working on country books. They have created opinion pieces and fiction pieces. Together the class enjoyed things like our trip to The Liberty Science Center, our interactive immigration assembly, and field day. It has been a fantastic year! We will miss all of the children and hope that they all have a safe and happy summer! We know that the students will soar at Hillside!
All the best,
Katie Winchock and Katie Mariani
Dear Families,
I am excited to welcome you to fourth grade at Adamsville! I am eager to have each of you in my 4th grade class! As a reminder, the first day of school is September 4 and school begins at 8:55 am.
During the first few days of school, we will take time to get to know each other and start to build new relationships. We will also discuss the routines of our classroom and rules of our school so you will feel comfortable and confident in your new learning environment. With the guidance of your teachers, support from your family, and your own hard work, I am optimistic that we will have a fabulous year together!
Supplies will be provided to you such as folders, pencils, pencil cases, dry erase markers, erasers, notebook, etc. Feel free to buy any additional supplies if you would like to get your own!
I hope you continue to enjoy the end of summer with your family and friends! I am looking forward to meeting you on the first day of school!
Warmly,
Miss Winchock
