Academic Dishonesty Policy:

  • Students who use AI improperly in an academic setting are subject to the rules and consequences for academic dishonesty.

  • First offense: If a student’s submission is found to be generated by AI, that student will be given a discipline referral (warning) and have 24 hours to redo the assignment. Failure to do so will result in a zero.

  • Second offense: The student will be given a discipline referral for academic dishonesty and will receive a zero without the option to redo the assignment. All offenses after the second will follow the Code of Conduct for Clayton High School. Any students that are in NHS will be held to the NHS policy for Honor Code Violation.
