My name is Elizabeth Ryan. I am your 6th grade science teacher. I am a graduate of Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey and New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey. I have been teaching middle school for 8 years and I am excited to be your teacher. I hold teaching certifications in middle school science, English and social studies.

 

 

 

 

Materials/Resources: 

Students will be exposed to a variety of educational resources throughout the school year. These materials will be provided to students as needed. 

 

Although not required, I would recommend students have a notebook which will be useful for note taking, practice problems and brainstorming. Our classroom always welcomes donations of tissues and antibacterial wipes.

 

Your login information will be provided in your Google Classroom. I will make sure that you are able to log in and we will explore the materials together as a class!

Grading: 

Observation, participation, and classwork also play an important part in your grade. Please note all information regarding grading policies can also be found in your student handbook.

Procedures: 

● Your assigned days and time are based on which class period you are enrolled in. 

● Google Meet expectations and procedures are in your Google Classroom. 

● Chat/commenting expectations and procedures are in your Google Classroom. 

● Students are required to make up all work they miss if absent. This includes being absent from school for the day and/or missing the class period for any reason. It is the responsibility of the student to find out what work needs to be made up.
