About Marine Science:

This course is designed to explore and understand the vast world and interdisciplinary sciences of marine science. Marine Science is composed of two subjects. Oceanography which covers physical science through ocean composition,  and marine biology which covers the living components of the ocean and what inhibits it. We will be participating in a variety of hands-on lab activities, projects, and other classroom assessments in order to help you succeed as young marine scientists!

 

 

About AP Environmental Science:

This course is designed to be the equivalent of a one-semester, introductory college course in environmental science, through which students engage with the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world. The course requires that students identify and analyze natural and human-made environmental problems, evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems, and examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing them. Environmental Science is interdisciplinary, embracing topics from geology, biology, environmental studies, environmental science, chemistry, government policy, history, and geography.

 

 

About Biology:

Biology is the study of life! This class will cover topics from the smallest molecules and units of life up to the largest animals who rule the world. Topics include Biochemistry and The Nature of Life, Cell Structure and Function, Genetics, Evolution, and Ecology.
