My name is Mrs. Sydney and I will be your child’s teacher this year!  This will be my 3rd year teaching the self-contained Special Education class at JPE, and I absolutely love what I do! I have spent the last 6 years working with children with special needs and every year I learn something new – typically several new things! My favorite thing about my job is seeing the growth my students make academically and personally. Advocating for my students is a deep passion of mine; I am always looking for new and unique ways to accommodate each one to the fullest extent that they need. Collaborating with my student’s families to help them achieve success is also VERY important to me – reach out to me any time! I’m looking forward to a wonderful year!

I am married with 3 amazing kids.  I graduated from LSU. 💜💛 I spend my weekends cheering on my children at gymnastics meets and soccer tournaments.  I can’t wait to spend my days helping your child grow and learn!
