As a professional woodworker/boatbuilder I have spent the last decade enveloped in the transformative power of craft work. It is my priviledge to host such a space in the HTHS Wood Shop.
In our Wood Tech classes we will begin developing woodworking craft skills through individual and group project ranging from simple White Pine household wares to complex casework joined from local curly and windshook Cherry stock. We will also examine the design and fabrication of the crafted environments around us in order to become more thoughtful stakeholders in those environments.
