Hello Burch Charter School of Excellence!
My name is Ms. Prawetz and I am the school counselor! My role as your school counselor is to help you, the scholars, achieve academic success and develop social/emotional skills in response to issues you may face. Please feel free to reach out with any concerns. I look forward to working with you in the 2020-2021 school year. Here's to a great year!
In the month of March we are celebrating
Read Across America Week
Women's History Month
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I wanted to share with you all that our students are simultaneously partaking in Character Education and Social Emotional Learning, as these two concepts often overlap. For the month of March our Character Education theme is Self Control. We will explore why self-control is important and explore the social emotional learning competencies (self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, self-awareness, and responsible decision making)as they relate to feelings through the use of discussion questions.
