Your health and social and emotional well being is important. We urge you to follow these CDC guidelines for best preventive practices:

- Keep your child home if they are sick.
- Cover coughs and sneezes

In speaking with your child/children it is important to practice the following:
- Make yourself available.
- Remain calm and reassuring.
- Monitor television viewing and social media.
- Avoid excessive blaming.
- Be honest and accurate.
- Maintain a normal routine to the extent possible.
- Know the symptoms of COVID-19.
- Review and model basic hygiene and healthy lifestyle practices for protection.
- Discuss new rules or practices at school
- Communicate with your school

North Hudson Community Action Corp.
The Hudson County community action agency provides free food, meals, and groceries to the low income. In addition, they can help people apply for government assistance, public aid, and are a great place for referrals. For example, learn about rent assistance, programs for electric bills, and food stamps/WIC.

PLEASE NOTE:
Nurses, Social Workers, and Guidance Counselors will continue meeting the needs of our students to address any and all social-emotional needs through the updating of their websites to provide resources to students.
Additionally, staff will be available to students via email for personalized support during regular school hours, Monday through Friday between 7:40 am and 2:40 pm.
In some circumstances, Social Workers and Guidance Counselors may need to provide student support via phone conference. If at any time you need emergency support, you should call 911 immediately.
