Greetings and Welcome to THE Amite High Magnet School!
My name is Ms. Marisa Evans and I will be your Inclusion Teacher this year. This is my 2nd year in education and my 1st year here at Amite High Magnet School. Some things about me would be that I am a native of Hammond, Louisiana, but I graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 2012. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Criminal Justice in 2016. I'm currently working towards my Master's Degree and becoming a fully certified teacher.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling around the world, reading romantic novels, and binge watching true crime documentaries. I am very family oriented (I come from a huge family!) and I have two beautiful godchildren that I truly adore. I truly have a passion for assisting the youth of our future and guiding them along the path that best suites their future. One thing about me: once you are in my heart, you are in there for a lifetime! I am truly excited about this school year and I cannot wait to meet you all!
