Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Mrs. Parry and I am so excited to teach your child this year.  This is my twenty third year of teaching at the elementary level and we are already off to a wonderful start!  First of all, I want to stress the importance of communication between us. If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Email is the most effective way and I can be reached at [email protected] or a handwritten note will work as well in the near future. 

 

My goal is to develop your child fully and that includes academically, emotionally, socially and behaviorally.  I believe that when the teacher, parent and school are partners and we work together, we succeed. Your support and feedback is valuable to me.  I will be using “Class Dojo” and strongly urge all parents to sign on.
