Welcome to Art 1 Class!
In this Art class students will become proficient in all areas of the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design.
We will build from the basic foundations of these concepts and the knowledge and experience of my life and career, as well as the wealth of available content online and with the use of our Smartboard and our personal devices.
Instruction is engaging and rigorous. We have a treasure trove of materials and mediums to experiment with! Students enjoy drawing and painting, using pastels and embroidery and many other tools.
We also study Art History, past and present famous Artists and learn the value in self expression and in teamwork!
