Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!! I hope you and your families are all doing well during these unprecedented times. My name is Ms. Hill and I'm excited to begin my 2nd year as Assistant Principal here at Union Avenue Middle School. This marks my 9th year as an Assistant Principal and 16 total years in public school education. At Union Avenue Middle School, I supervise 7th grade; however I look forward to meeting & seeing all of our scholars in the future months to come.
We are starting the 2020-2021 school year differently than any other school year before. As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to alter our daily lives, we are learning to adapt to many challenges and becoming resourceful as we prepare for this school year. Despite our current circumstances, I have high hopes for this school year. Together, we will learn new things and discover strengths and skills that we didn't know existed.
It is my goal to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment that meets the needs of all students. Our teachers are here to assist every scholar, providing daily effective and quality instruction. Our leadership team will work together to support all students and parents as we embark through the re-opening phases of school.
