Hi! My name is Mrs. Bryant. I am a wife, mom, and a third grade teacher at Champ Cooper School. I am so excited about this new school year. We are going to learn so many new and exciting things. This will be my 7th year teaching and my 4th year in 3rd grade and I absolutely love it! I love teaching because I love making learning fun for others! I am looking forward to this year – it’s going to be great!
Subjects:
· Students will read literary and informational texts to learn that stories and books are important for learning about themselves and others, how storytelling can be entertaining as well as educational, and about the Louisiana Purchase and the characteristics of pioneers during this time period.
·We will practice opinion, narrative, and informative writing throughout the year.
·Some math subjects that will be focused on this year are multiplication and division, time and measurement, and fractions.
·Social Studies will focus on the study of Louisiana history and culture.
· Science will focus on the weather, fossils, and forces and motion.
